World of Warcraft: What should be my class?

Hey well i have been playing wow for about a month, and i am fed up with my level 33 Prot paladin. Sure it like never dies in BG's and its good at tanking, but i want to own the **** out of people and survive. I would want something like a rogue with healing, or a druid. But im also wondering if i should stick with my pally because it gets beter at higher levels? Also i was wondering if i should pick shaman cause i like doing high dps spells like excorcism.
