World of Warcraft Rogue Help!?

You cannot get heirlooms if it is a new account, you must have a level 80 or level 85. As for them having better stuff well if they have an 80 or 85 then they have money to buy gear. If its your first character it really doesn't matter much how much damage you're doing until you hit 85. The game is designed so you get through the quests without having the best gear. Buying gear along the way would be a waste of money as you will be replacing it quickly. As for talent points it depends on what spec you want to be.
