How can I remove XP Home Security 2012 when it prevents all malware removal programs from opening?

I have the annoying rogue XP Home Security 2012 virus on my desktop computer. I've followed directions found online for removing it but when I try to open the different software that is available to rid my computer of this problem, the problem blocks the software. What do I do?
