Can i take back my ipod touch to walmart?

I bought an ipod touch from walmart 28 days ago for 250 dollars and now it won't sync or charge, can I take it back? i have the recipt still and I live no where near an apple store to go get it fixed and i just prefer to exchange it and get a new one....will walmart let me?
