Should I go on a two week long foreign exchange to Germany in a couple years?

I'm 14 years old, and going into 8th grade next school year, and was curious of to whether or not I should go to Germany at the end of 10th grade, so in about 2 years, to a 2 week foreign exchange in Berlin, I'm learning German in school, and wondering if it is worth spending the money on, I mean I absolutely LOVE Germany (I'm from America) but just wondering if I should begin saving up the money? Also what do people from Germany, and people who went to visit Germany think of it? Thanks!
