Looking for a WW2 Resistance movie?

Saw the last half or so of a movie a while back that was really good, been looking for a while and everything I find is about Defiance, which I've seen and is also a good movie but not the same one, I remember a scene where these men ambushed a german officer's car killing a young boy by accident, as well as at the end of the movie, one of the leaders takes a Cyanide pill to avoid interrogation/torture, and one fought to the death from his home taking quite a few germans with him before dying... anyone know what movie this was? Seemed to be fairly new, maybe late 90s at the oldest...
