Does this sound like a good idea for a plot?

I like the basic outline for your story. And though I love me some werewolves, they are so overused nowadays that people will steer away from any books with the word werewolf in it. I think you should keep your basic plot and make your characters something else besides werewolves and adjust the plot line to that.
